Unfinished discussions (answers) with developers

Dear developers!
I have some unfinished discussions with you and now I would like to know
about them:
1. Thread "'Find/Find in Files' in Russian" 05.06.2008. Is it possible to
make this feature?
2. Thread "3d party components property editor" 28.01.2009. Is it possible
to make this documentation?
3. Thread "Re: About OCX class" 04.05.2009 (sample with MS FlexGrid). Is
there any news about this problem?

Oleg,
1) That is a difficult task since we do not have any Russian Windows PC
where we can test it. BTW, some questions:
- Can you test it with the free software ConTEXT? (it also uses Scintilla)
- Does it work with text copied from the clipboard?
2) We already have it in Spanish as a draft in our blog. I will try to
publish it today or tomorrow. I hope I can translate it to English in the
short term
3) Could you resend the sample please, I will try to take a look ASAP.

I have installed ConTEXT 0.98.5 and it can search case-insensitive Russian
text
without any additional settings. The same with Russian text from clipboard.

Ok. Here is my message and attached sample (flex.zip):
"It seems that Xailer OCX support is not good when OCX control is
interactive
(receive mouse or key input from user). For example, I have this sample
project that operates with MS FlexGrid control. It can receive mouse input
(changes current cell) but it does not receive key input when I press
Up/Down/Left/Right keys (does not change current cell).
How can I make MS FlexGrid control process Up/Down/Left/Right keys in
Xailer2 ?
Similar project in Delphi is working fine."

Ok. Here is my message and attached sample (flex.zip):

Fixed. Now it uses the active codepage from windows to compare strings. That
means that if you have an english windows version you cannot compare strings
in russian, but if your windows is in russian, you can. I'm affraid this is
the only thing I can do, but I hope this solves the problem.

I've tried to test your sample, but I have a problem: I don't have
MSFlexGrid in my system, and I can't make it to work. I've tried to copy
msflxgrd.ocx into windowssystem32 and register it with regsvr32.exe, but
it doesn't work. Is there any url where I can download a working copy of
this component?

It seems to me that there is no problem with msflxgrd.ocx.
I was able to reproduce this behaviour on other XP computers: msflxgrd.ocx
is registered successfully,
but does not work in my Xailer sample. But on these computers similar sample
in Delphi is working fine.
This is very strange, maybe there is some problem with creating OCX object
in Xailer.
If you know Delphi you can try it. First create new application. Then do
'ComponentImport ActiveX control' with msflxgrd.ocx,
and install this component. Put MSFlexGrid component onto form and in Object
Inspector set property Rows to 5, Cols to 3.
Compile this project and run.

No, it's not. I even cannot instance it using MS OLE Object Viewer
It seems that there is some kind of runtime pack missing in my windows.

Yes, I know Delphi until version 7, but I haven't it here. In either case,
the main problem is that I cannot test it here for now. I'll try to use
another computer.
