Hello,
if oTEdit:lPassword assigned to .T. the control doesn't shows the asterisk
"*" as passwordchar. It shows vertcal stripes. See the picture.

Change its font to Arial 9 or Courier New 9. I'm affraid the problem is the
font MS Sans Serif.
