Returning multiple field values from combobox selection

I am looking for input on how best to acheive a common process -- i.e.,
returning multiple field values from a lookup table. If I use a comboBox on
a form, I know I can fill aItems with field values from a lookup table.
However, the record pointer in the lookup table does not appear to be
synched with the value selected in the lookup table (aItems appears to be an
array of field values copied from the lookup table). So, how best to seek
for the record in the lookup table that corresponds to the value selected in
the comboBox, especially in those cases where the lookup table is indexed by
some unique identifier that is NOT the value chosen for display in the
comboBox?

I experimented with aItemsBound and think it will do the trick!

I am able to use aItemsBound to hold an array of values of the primary key
corresponding to character values in the aItems array. I load the two
different arrays from a dataset in the OnCreate event of the dbComboBox
datacontrol.
In the OnExit event, I use that primary key to seek for the appropriate
record in an open dataset and then assign multiple field values to
corresponding datacontrols on the form.
The objective is to fill in address information on the form which is
contained in another dataset according to which name is selected in the
ComboBox. I am able to use one OrdSetFocus() to show the list of names in
alphabetical order and another OrdSetFocus() (temporarily) to seek for the
primary key when retrieving data. The new values show up on the form as soon
as I exit the dbComboBox control.
This works great!
