If a field in the active index is edited, the highlighted record in the browse is not synced up to the current record.

We believe that is the preferred behavior for those situations.
Normally, when a user does an inline browse edit, it does not expect that when the browse finishes, its current row is somewhere else in the browse list.
BTW, you only need to refresh the Browse to achieve what you request: oBrowse:Refresh()

The current record is visiable in the browse, and that is good, but the selected row in the browse is not the current record!
