Can the database editor be run outside of the Xailer IDE? If so what is the
name of the executable and where is it located?
TIA,
Gary

Nick,
Next monday we will start to sale xaDdbu. Xailer IDE Dbf editor is just a
toy compared with xaDbu, although the interface is very similar.

I've had the oportunity to review in deep the production release of
xaDbu last week, it has the same look and feel of the Xailer's DBF
Editor but it has *A LOT* of new, yet powerful features.
The ones I liked the most:
* Scripting: Documentation says: 'allow you to write small programs',
well the programs you can write are really "not too small".
* The dot prompt or command interpreter reminds me the old dBase times,
but it works really good.
* ADS support, the most of my programs are ADS compatible, using ADT
files, xaDbu support it. I don't like to use the ARC since I cannot do
DELETE FOR, APPEND FROM or COPY TO, or some other database operations
have to be done using SQL, with xaDbu you do it in the dbase way.
* Relations are *GREAT*, yo can nest relations: Grandpa -> Father -> son
->grandson... endless posibilities.
* Grid configuaration: add or remove the columns you need, create your
own calculated columns, add your filters or scopes and print a report in
a snap.
Give a try to xaDbu, you won't regret
