IDE Crash

Hi,
sometimes crashes the IDE when I try to delete the last column of a TDBBrowse.
The errormessage is not yet ok.

me the whole message.

At runtime it's fixed replaceing the last xailer.res file that Ignacio
published in these forums. But the IDE was compiled with a corrupted
xailer.res file, so it has actually this bug. We'll try to publish a new
release very soon.

At runtime it's fixed replaceing the last xailer.res file that Ignacio
published in these forums. But the IDE was compiled with a corrupted
xailer.res file, so it has actually this bug. We'll try to publish a new
release very soon.

It's not possible. As you can see on the screencopy is there a msginfobox.
You can only click on the button.
But you can provoke the error yourself. Place a TDBBrowse of an open DataSet
with more columns on the form. The width of the right column must reach beyond
the browse boundary. And than delete this column. Ok?

Ingo,
I am not able to reproduce your bug with SamplesDataControls1. I did go to
last column and even force it so it was displayed partially as you said. I
could delete the column with no problem. I am sure the bug exists but
without a sample it is dificult to trace it. In any case I continue
searching.
About the errormessage problem, is completely normal, the IDE itself was
linked with the corrupted resource file. That's all.

Ingo,

I can reproduce the error with samplesDataControlsDBFData1 too when I delete
the last column again and again.
