Hi Massimo,
Xavier is a common name of person in Catalonia Spain, Javier in Spanish. Xavi, Xevi is a short name between friends for Xavier.
Only this explanation, don't correspond to my answer your two points.
Another thing. Do you know if Harbour list operate?
