Hybrid mode of Xailer

In 2009, apparently Jose Manuel, as blogged by Rene Flores, discovered a way
to run an MS-DOS console program within Xailer 1.9. by linking in GTWIN.DLL.
Rene could not make this procedure work with Xailer 2.0. I would be very
interested in this approach, as it would enable me to convert console
screens one at a time to Windows screens. Is there any way this can be done
with Xailer 2.0?
