Setting DbfdataSet cName ??
Publicado: Mar Ene 27, 2009 2:38 pm
Hi,
I often get this problem this problem in the early stages of a project.
Same problem in 1.X & 2.0.
I add a DataSource to my project ... cConnect is set to .data ( Data folder
is inside application development folder )
I then add a DbfDataSet to my project .... ( in this project it is my
inherited dataset, but problem is same with xailer base class )
- oDataSource is set to the DataSource
- I then try to set the cName .... I enter the dbf name in the . folder
like MMStkTak.dbf
When I try to set lOpen to TRUE ... I will get the error shown.
See DbfDataSet_cName.png
With Xailer 2.0when I quit, xailer becomes unstable & disappears.
I also get simialr problems if I use the cname 'Picker'
I get this sort of problem many times when setting up DbfDataSet objects at
the beginning of projects .... by fiddling around I get it to work, but I
would like it to work first time.
Any ideas what am I doing wrong here please
Regards
Chris
