If the autoupdate is deactivated and I click on the button "Jetzt nach Upgrades
suchen" ('now looking for upgrades')
I get the error message after the connection to Xailer.com
Xailer Update: Error HTTP:3

Ingo,
It can be a communication error on your side. Does it happens always?

Ignacio,
no, only if autoupdate is deactivated.
If I change it to automatic download and manually or automatic installing
and rerun Xailer it works without any error. But if it is deactivated and
I click on the button to look for updates then the error occurs.

I also have this error with the same conditions (autoupdate is deactivated).
I occurs only if I compile & run any project before.
You can easily reproduce it: start Xailer, open any working project, change
any source code, compile and run, close running program,
then click menuitem 'ToolsOptions', click button 'Search for updates now'.
I always get 'HTTP error 3' in this sequence.

Ignacio and Igno
I try to reproduct the Igno problem, but i'm afraid, the auto update method
work's perfect. Unistalling and installing again the xailer 1.5, (deleteing
the upgrades directory) again work perfect with and without deactivate
updates no HTTP problem or error occured. Every time the system conected to
upgrade site with success.

At my side this error always occurs in the described case.
Maybe it is side effect of some installed programs combination.
Maybe it is because I have dial-up connection on the server (WinXP Prof)
shared in the LAN.
I work with Internet at the workstation (WinXP Prof) through this server.
Anyway I can live with it :) I just want to help to 'catch the bug'.

Oleg,
Does it happens ONLY when you have made a compile & run process?
Do you receive the same error HTTP:3?
Can you check if only happnes when using the debugger?
Thanks

Yes, always after 'compile' or 'compile & run' if any source code was
changed.

Yes, lines sequence 'Connected to xaler.com' then 'Error HTTP: 3'

Any case, with or without debug info.
BTW I am getting this error with sample project, attached to 'Window
flickering' thread.

Sorry, but no effect after disabling.
Maybe the problem is on my side indeed. I have tried to install Xailer DEMO
onto another computer in my LAN (XP Home SP2 with internal Windows
firewall). I have tested the same project with the same sequence. Autoupdate
works perfectly on it.
I will try to do some more tests on my XP Prof and if I succeed, I will
inform you.
