Sorry is really hard for me to understand what you exactly want :-(
You are talking about a VistaDB I never heard off and some Delphi =
componets you probabily use with that VistaDB but I can not understand =
what your question is all aout. sorry.
BTW we are working right now in ADO connection and it will be the =
recommned way to connect to any database. Even the ADO through ODBC =
connection seems to work really fine.

Vladimir,
I never heard off VistaDB, but I had take a look, and as far I can see, it has a lot interfaces with .NET, .COM BUT it does not follow a standard database access interface like ADO or ODBC.
Rigth now you should be able to acces from xHarboour to VistaDB through ..COM but I am afraid that DataControl could not be used directly with VistaDB. In any case you can use standard controls for editing and save the data via COM interface as usual.
