IDE Editor error - selected block
Ignacio,
I found an error in the editor. I select a block with Alt-Mouse moving. Press Ctrl-C, then
paste this block in another place with Ctrl-C. Only part of the first row to the first
space character is copied.
Please correct.

I've just tested copying this way, and it seems it's working fine. Please,
tell us exactly how to replicate the problem.

Jose,
repeat this operation with different block width and hight. You can try a normal line
select, copy and paste operation combinig with block selecting. This never works for me
correctly.
1. Select the whole line with Shift-End, copy and paste in another place
2. Now select a block with Alt-mouse moving, copy and paste it. On my computer the first
selected line is copied and not the selected block.

I'm trying to replicate the problem without success. Every time I copy and
paste a block (either a lines block and a columns block) it works fine.
Please, be more explicit in the instructions to reproduce it. If possible,
send us a little file and a set of instructions like "select from pos X to
pos Y, then press ctrl+c,...". TIA.

Jose,
I found it. You must use keyboard operation Ctrl-C. When a block is selected, Ctrl-C
doesn't copy the block into clipboard. Using the context menu the copy operation works
fine.
Another. It's not possible selecting block with keyboard. Shift-Alt-Arrow should be the
shortcut to do this. Does not?

I've just tested it again, and again it's working fine.
ITOH, I've just notice something that could be the cause of your problem: if
you release the Alt key after selecting the block with the mouse, the
focused window becomes the main one, not the code editor. So, if you then
press ctrl+c, it does nothing. Please, try to release Alt key just when you
begin to move the mouse to make the selection and tell us if it works fine
for you.
> Another. It's not possible selecting block with keyboard. Shift-Alt-Arrow
> should be the shortcut to do this. Does not?
Yes, we are aware of it. For now, the only way to select a 'column' block is
using the mouse.

This is the source of the problem. I must release the Alt button first! Releasing the
mouse button first while the Alt is pressed, the main window has a focus, not the editor.
Is this an error in the IDE or standard behaviour?

Well, it's a side effect since pressing Alt (or releasing it) must change
the focus to the main window to allow menu's shortcuts. I'm affraid there is
no easy fix to this problem.
