Hi,
I'm using a TAdsDataSource and a single TDbfDataSet. I can open and use the
table and I can close it too but when I close the program I'm receiving the
message "XAILER TAdsDataSource: 1 files not closed correctly" even if the
Advantage Configuration Utility says that there is no opened table!
What am I doing wrong?

Hi, again.
I tried to delete the dataset from the datasource... there is no message
anymore. Is it correct?

Problem closing a program using ADS tables
Roberto,
Xailer is just remembering you that you did not CLOSE the dataset, but
indeed Xailer is closing the file when you exit from the application.
From the classic xbase approach is like you do a USE <Table> without a CLOSE
<Table>, but obviosuly the table is closed when you quit from the app.
That's all
When a DataSource is linked to a form, when the form is destroyed all the
datasets linked to that datasource are destroyed. But when the datasource
does not belong to any form you are the responsable of destroying it with
its End() method.
Regards,

Problem closing a program using ADS tables
Ignacio,
Thanks.
One year ago I moved my systems from Clipper to xHarbour. Before I tried
Dephi, Visual Studio, FiveWin, Visual xHarbour, MiniGUI and a lot of others
tools but I aways was stoped by some problem that I could not get a solution.
Now I'm using Xailer and I have no words to say how impressed I am. With
all respect to the others tools but only Xailer can delivery what it promise.
Everything works as expected, there is enough documentation and it does not
"hang" with no resonable reason. It is easy to understand and to use, when
something goes wrong is because we are not using it right.
Sorry, I know that here is not the correct place to put this king of message,
but I'm really satisfied with Xailer.
I only guess this marvelous tool don't stop.
