Good morning,

We are pleased to announce that the Spanish and English documentation for xaWeb is completely finished and therefore xaWeb is likely to begin its commercial journey at any time.

Today xaWeb has nothing to do with Xailer, with the only exception that it also has the EVENT command which is also available in many programming environments. However, the use of Xailer as a code editor and for building executables is recommended, both for Windows and Linux, due to the important advantage of the Intellisense support that it includes and which xaWeb takes advantage of.

The short-term roadmap for xaWeb is the following:
  • Xailer-style datasource and dataset controls for those who are used to using them. This does not prevent the direct use of any Harbour database manager, as many programmers who do not use Xailer already do.
  • xaWeb plugin that displays the structure of the HTML document, facilitates online help consultation and includes tools for code editing.
We will keep you informed of our progress. In the meantime, I encourage you to join the beta-testers group that is still open. We need programmers to start using the tool and help us polish its operation. Now is the time to be able to make any changes. When the product is published, everything will be more difficult. Simply reply to this thread indicating your willingness or contact me directly at iozuniga@ozs.es.

Below is a link to all the documentation, which as you can see has been a huge job:
