Otto:
Guess not, Xailer was created with the IDE in mind, the class hierarchy
is quite different from the FiveWin one.
Xailer builds the interface from source code, fivewin needs RC files in
order to use visual design.
Xailer is highly object oriented, and the IDE fully optimized to work
that way, FW relies on the use of the commands more than objects.

AFAIK, FW has never been designed to work with an IDE. If you need a
programming tool that allows managing projects, compiling and editing code,
there are some of them out there (even, we probably adapt our XEdit to be
used with other compilers and libraries).
But, IMHO, FW can't be used with a full IDE, nor Xailer nor any other. I
know about several tryes in the past, and none of them could be finished due
the nature of FW.
