Hi,
a small problem with the new Version:
A copied or duplicated control gets indeed a new name but will not be
registered as component.

Ignacio,
place a TEdit-Control on the form. You see in the object-inspector "oEdit1
(TEdit)". In the Form1.prg is there the COMPONENT oEdit1. Ok?
Then duplicate the oEdit1 to the right or down. You have now 2 elements in
the object-inspector (oEdit1 and oEdit2) but only 1 COMPONENT (oEdit1).
The second COMPONENT oEdit2 is not built.
