That function returns the following:
Executing as admin:
nb-6cA and then an error "This shared resource does not exist anymore"
Executing without admin rights:
X:A and then an error "This shared resource does not exist anymore"

then it is a bug or a new "feature" of Win8 because I used the code from
the MSDN to write the function I sent.
It seems it can be done with another function from mapi.dll but I cant't
find if it works on every windows version.

Hello José,
The problem is the UAC from windows. Somehow it blocks the right return...
With UAC enabled, Application:cDirectory returns the server...
Without the UAC, Application:cDirectory returns X:MyProgram
This problem occurs even in windows 7...
