Hi!
Is it possible to run an application (for example Notepad.exe) in a process
without showing the window of the application?
Best regards, Timm.

Take a look at the parameters of the Execute function.

Ignacio,
it seems that the SW_HIDE mode of Execute() does not work with all
application.
I want to call DOSBox.exe (www.dosbox.com) in order to execute a 16-Bit
application in a 64-Bit Window 7 environment:
Execute( ".OptiRundosbox.exe .OptiRun.exe -noconsole -userconf -exit",
".OptiRun", .t., SW_HIDE )
Every time I call that function the DOSBox window is shown.
Best regards, Timm.

I'm afraid is not our fault, sorry. We are just calling Windows standard API functions. BTW, I suggest you try to create a link to that application and change its configuration so is executed minimized. It may work.
